Broken Roof Sprinkler Floods West Sac Apartment Units

10 residents displaced in flooding

 

WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. (KCRA) —West Sacramento fire crews responded to flooding at an apartment complex early Tuesday morning.

 

The West Sacramento Fire Department said that a sprinkler head on the roof of an apartment complex on F Street broke and caused the flooding of several apartment units.

 

The report came in around 5 a.m. when quite a bit of water filled inside some of the apartments.

 

About 10 residents of the flooded units were evacuated and the Red Cross is assisting them.

 

Significant damage was reported in the flooding.
