June 10, 2015

The Conway Fire Department (CFD) responded to a sprinkler activation caused by a broken sprinkler head at the Wal-Mart located on Hwy 65 North on Sunday.

A report from the CFD stated that a grate in the oil change pit broke the sprinkler head, activating the sprinkler system.

Patrons who were inside at the time of the incident said management evacuated the store.

According to the CFD report, Conway Corporation assisted in shutting off the main water supply.
