Section of CCH Flooded After Sprinkler Broken By Patient
HYANNIS – A section of Cape Cod Hospital was flooded. Hyannis firefighters responded to an alarm set off by the water flow. The activation was reportedly caused by an emotionally disturbed patient damaging the sprinkler head. Crews were able to secure the water while hospital maintenance brought in equipment to clean up the water. No other patients were affected and the hospital remained fully opened.
