Students and staff were temporarily forced out of Central Kings Rural High School in Cambridge after a sprinkler broke this morning.
Waterville firefighters were called to the school just after 11:30 a.m. after the sprinkler head in the gymnasium was accidentally broken.
School staff were able to shut down the sprinkler system in that part of the building. The clean up began within 15 minutes. and students were able to get back into the school.
A school board official was not immediately available for comment.
