We have UL listings with various TYCO, Viking, and Reliable sprinkler heads. Those listings can be found on each product page on our website. We have not secured FM for all of these simply because aftermarket head guard testing has been unavailable until recently, and we made the decision to pursue the ESFR program with them first. Concerning FM Global, We have secured approval for our ESFR products. Both programs have tested our products to perform in conjunction with specific products so that durability and strength, fire conditions, and spray pattern standards are met.

• We like to say it will probably take longer to access the sprinkler head with a lift climbing (safely) through a pallet rack than attaching one of our guards! It literally takes just minutes to install.

• Everything impedes the spray pattern, including the water line itself. That being said, we have invested in designing and testing our products for spray pattern performance, specifically with leading agencies like FM Global and UL laboratories, which require spray pattern performance to meet their standards before any approvals are given.

• SprinkGUARD products are made from both mild steel and stainless steel, depending on the application requirements. The standard finish for the mild steel units is powder coating.

• We sell directly to our customers! That means you can choose to have your supplier source them from us on your behalf, but we are happy to work directly with you regardless of the order size.

• If it's a small order of stock units, it is a matter of days! For larger quantities, we generally tell our customers to prepare for 6-8 weeks. We always provide products as quickly as possible, but we endeavor to underpromise and overdeliver!

• Due to the nature of our products, the variety of environments they are utilized in, and the multitude of installers, we cannot offer a comprehensive warranty. If one of our guards is damaged while in service, but the sprinkler head it is protecting is intact, it worked! We would expect you to replace the damaged product with a new one to continue meeting our performance expectations.

• Our mindset at SprinkGUARD is to be problem solvers for our customers, so yes, we do! It is, however, a premium service, as is the cost of the product developed case by case. The higher cost is due primarily to the low quantity often involved and the time it takes to assess, design, and fabricate all the units in the custom shop.

• We do offer site visits to help you recognize what specific products would be the best solution.
